Fleming County 4-H Update
Message from the Agent
It is so hard to believe that it is already fall! Our Shooting Sports, Livestock and Country Ham have wrapped up their program years and are taking a much needed break to gear up for the next program year. We have a variety of school enrichment programs coming up soon such as Environmental Day Camps and Reality Store as well as the annual 4-H Country Ham Auction 4-H Horse Club is actively meeting monthly, we have a new Cloverbud leader kicking off their club year in November!

If you were enrolled for 2024-2025 be on the lookout for a re-enrollment email, if you would like to enroll for the first time visit https://v2.4honline.com/#/user/sign-in to get started today! Assistance with 4-H Online or receiving a paper copy is available by contacting the Fleming County Extension Office.
4-H Country Ham Project
In August, 66 Fleming County 4-Hers attended the Kentucky State Fair to give their speeches and compete in the Ham Contest! Members are now preparing for the 4-H Country Ham Online Auction October 30 - November 6th, and the Member Showcase at Ewing Elementary on November 6th.
4-H Golden Reins Horse Club
The 4-H Golden Reins Horse Club has kicked off their new club year in style with club meetings at their new arena and hosted a Fall Fun Show Fundraiser on October 11th.
Kentucky 4-H State Shoot
Fleming County 4-H Shooting Sports Club Members competed in Berea and Wilmore at the Kentucky 4-H State Shoot in September.
84th Annual 4-H & FFA Livestock Show & Sale
On September 11th we hosted the 84th Annual 4-H & FFA Livestock Show & Sale with 50 Fleming County 4-H & FFA Members participating!
